Do I need to do anything to prepare for my appointment?
For Hair services no preparation is needed—it's our honor to pamper your crown. Just arrive ready to unwind, rejuvenate, and embrace your moment of renewal..
For Reiki, wear comfortable clothing and come with an open mind.
For Waxing, follow the preparation tips in the Waxing section on this page.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes! Consultations are available to discuss your hair care goals, healing needs, or waxing preferences.
Locs are sections of hair that have been intentionally matted and tangled together to form solid strands. They can form naturally (freeform) or through maintenance techniques like twisting, palm rolling, or interlocking.
How often should I retwist my locs?
This depends on your hair texture, lifestyle, and the desired look. On average, retwisting is recommended every 4-6 weeks to maintain healthy roots.
Do locs require a lot of maintenance?
Not necessarily! Locs are low-maintenance compared to loose hair, but they still require regular washing, moisturizing, and occasional retwisting to keep them clean, healthy, and neat.
Can I wash my locs?
Absolutely! Clean locs thrive. We recommend using a residue-free shampoo to avoid buildup.
What products do you recommend for locs?
For maintaining hydration, we suggest a lightweight mist such as rose water, aloe vera water, or a hair milk mist—tailored to your locs' dryness levels.
Lock in that moisture with our Lavender Bliss Alignment Hair Oil, designed to nourish your scalp and enhance your loc care routine.
WAXING
What areas do you offer waxing for?
We provide waxing services for various areas, including brows, face, underarms, arms, legs, bikini, Brazilian, chest, back, and more.
Does waxing hurt?
There is some discomfort, but it varies depending on your pain tolerance and the area being waxed. Our technique is designed to minimize pain and maximize comfort.
How should I prepare for a waxing appointment?
Allow at least 2-3 weeks of hair growth beforewaxing. Exfoliate the area 24-48 hours beforehand to remove dead skin cells. Avoid using lotions or oils on the day of your appointment.
After Care?
After your wax, wait 48-72 hours before resuming exfoliation. Consistently exfoliating 2-3 times a week helps maintain smooth skin, prevent ingrown hairs, and diminish hyperpigmentation caused by previous shaving. During the first few days post-wax, it’s best to avoid activities that may cause sweating to ensure optimal results and comfort.
How long will my wax last?
Results typically last 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. Regular waxing can result in finer and slower regrowth over time.
Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?
Yes, we use high-quality wax that is gentle on sensitive skin. Please inform us of any allergies or skin conditions beforehand.
Can I wax if I’m pregnant?
Absolutely! Waxing is safe during pregnancy. We’ll take extra care to ensure your comfort during the process.

During a Reiki session, you will lie down fully clothed while I place my hands lightly on or above specific areas of your body. Clients often report feeling warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation.
How long is a Reiki session?
Sessions typically last 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your needs.
Can Reiki help with stress or anxiety?
Yes! Reiki is known for its ability to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and help balance emotions, making it a great tool for managing anxiety.
Does Reiki conflict with Christianity or other religions?
Reiki is a holistic energy healing practice that is not tied to any religion and does not require specific beliefs. It is compatible with many faiths, including Christianity, and is often embraced as a way to support physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
While individual perspectives may differ, Reiki is a universal practice that enhances, rather than conflicts with, religious or spiritual beliefs.
